Eurolumen respects the imagination of its clients, and has the capabilities to support your vision from concept to custom lighting solutions ready for installation.

Eurolumen can modify an existing design or can develop a custom lighting solution from the ground up based on your concept. Another differentiating characteristic of Eurolumen is that we are very accessible and supportivcustom lighting projecte during all phases of the project.

We also form strong partnerships with other companies. Here's an example. In 2005, Industry & Design Light, Inc. built 28 custom pendants for a church near Washington, DC (construction shown right).

Lighting designers C.M. Kling & Associates produced a concept and faxed Industry & Design Light, Inc. (IDL) a rough sketch. The original sketch called for a low-voltage rail system to create pendants, but it was determined that these would warp once hung. Instead, fixture designer and V.P. of IDL Daniel Mozey (LC, IES) offered to create custom lighting fixtures, and provided a concept.

Each custom lighting fixture has two 6-ft. diameter 2-in. square extruded aluminum rings, bent and welded by a company in Pennsylvania (one of the few that would work with extrusions on that scale), and then brushed finished by a company in Minneapolis.

The materials were shipped to IDL's production room, where IDL's production team drilled hundreds of holes, hand made brackets and other support components, and did of all the wiring.

All of the screw and bolt hardware is stainless steel. Each custom lighting fixture is supported form the ceiling by stainless aircraft cable and Posilock stainless steel cable attachments from Carl Stahl in Germany.

The top ring of each lighting fixture has nine mini floodlights attached, while the bottom ring has eight white glass mini pendants hanging five inches below. With Dan Mozey's design expertise, custom lighting projectIDL was able to keep the weight of each individual ring to about 20 pounds, or a total of 40 pounds per custom lighting fixture.

The architect's specifications called for some of the custom lighting fixtures to be single circuit while others are dual circuit. To keep things simple for the installer, IDL was able to wire them so that any custom lighting fixture could be single or dual circuit.
